Wedding Rose Trends for 2026: Colors, Styles & Floral Inspirations

When it comes to wedding florals, trends in flower variety, color, and arrangement style change every year. Right now, we’re in peak summer wedding season — the perfect time to get a feel for what’s popular.

Royal Flowers specializes in growing premium Ecuadorian roses for weddings. We’re involved in hundreds of these special events each season, which means we get a front-row seat to watch the latest wedding rose trends for 2026 come to life.

From intimate garden ceremonies to classic ballroom-style receptions, these are three wedding floral trends we’ve been seeing everywhere in 2026 — and the rose varieties we’d recommend to recreate them.

Garden Roses Still Dominate the Wedding Industry

Out of all the rose varieties, garden roses are still by far one of the most popular choices for weddings.

Garden roses have a distinct look from the standard roses we often associate with Valentine’s Day or other holidays. Their intricate ruffled texture makes them feel extra luxurious and a bit reminiscent of peonies.

One great example of a garden rose is our new Fatima Gardens variety. It’s a gorgeous white  with accents of natural yellow in the center and soft baby pink toward the ends of each petal. Another garden rose perfect for weddings, from your bridal bouquet to floor arrangements in a church, is our Antonia Gardens cream rose. It’s the perfect milky color to compliment any color palette and venue.

Floral Ceiling Arrangements

A huge trend we’ve noticed recently is clients wanting to use florals beyond just centerpieces and bouquets. Specifically, it has become super popular for decorators and designers to hang floral arrangements from the ceiling of the wedding reception venue as a main aspect of the decor.

In these types of arrangements, it’s common to incorporate a variety of flowers and plant types with different lengths and textures. It works really well if you have a garden-inspired or color-forward theme.

For wedding roses, something like our Viviane rose would work beautifully. It’s a spray variety, meaning multiple flower heads come out of one stem. These also tend to be a bit more leafy than single-stem roses, which would help them blend into a larger arrangement well.

Bright and Bold Colors Instead of White

White flowers used to be the gold standard for weddings, but these days couples and designers are using much brighter and bolder colors.

Mixing bright colors creates a whimsical look, and works especially well for outdoor-focused weddings or venues near the beach.

For more tropical vibes, our Country Candy rose is a great garden rose option with a happy pink hue and unique red tips. You could also incorporate our bright yellow-orange Mango Tango rose to evoke a warm, sunny feeling.

If you’re using bright colors for a more sophisticated, art deco-style vibe, consider our deep red Hearts rose or our fun chartreuse-looking Lemonade rose.

Final Thoughts

The top wedding rose trends for 2026 show that couples are looking for floral designs that feel romantic, creative, and memorable. From garden roses to ceiling arrangements and bold color palettes, roses continue to be one of the most versatile flowers for wedding design.

At Royal Flowers, our premium Ecuadorian roses offer the quality, color, and beauty needed to bring these wedding floral inspirations to life.
